Chitrakoot is a place of great mythological importance. Chitrakoot means the the 'Hill of many wonders' is a beautiful hilly area falls in the northern Vindhya range of mountains spread over the states of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. The spiritual legacy of Chitakoot has been described in the Ramayan, when Lord Ram and Goddess Sita spent the 11 years of their 14years exile at this place.
